Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Current Service — Free Tier

HelixaCare is currently offered free of charge for all individual patients. As no payment is collected, no refund is applicable for the free tier.

2. Future Paid Services

If and when HelixaCare introduces paid subscription plans or premium features, the following refund policy will apply in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020:

2.1 Subscription cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings
  • Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
  • No partial refunds will be issued for the remaining period of a monthly subscription
  • Annual subscriptions cancelled within 14 days of purchase are eligible for a full refund

2.3 How to request a refund

  1. Email us at support@helixacare.com with your registered email and reason for the refund
  2. Our team will acknowledge your request within 24 hours
  3. Eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days

3. Data After Cancellation

When you cancel a paid subscription:

  • Your health data remains accessible in read-only mode under the free tier
  • Premium features (if any) will be deactivated at the end of your billing period
  • You may continue to export or download your data at any time
  • To permanently delete your data, use the account deletion option in Settings

4. Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019. You may:

  • File a complaint with the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission
  • Contact the National Consumer Helpline at 1800-11-4000
  • Use the e-Daakhil portal at edaakhil.nic.in
